Make phone calls for bike lanes, bike racks and other bike things.Work on a team to prioritize our advocacy tasks and then work to get things done.

    Bike Safety Classes
BikeAlameda is a leader in delivering bicycle safety classes for kids and adults. We have wonderful local instructors who teach the League of American Bicyclists national curriculum, with an eye toward everyday cycling needs. We can always use help with class logistics, publicity and help on the day of the classes.
    Bike To Work Day
Several months before this event each May, we have a committee that forms to put it all together. We need people to help round up donations, to create and distribute publicity, to staff the "energizer stations" on the big day, and so forth.
    Board of Directors
If you are interested in helping direct our outreach and advocacy efforts or lead a campaign, please find out more about what a board position entails.
