Bike Ferry Postponed

The Alameda/ Oakland Bike Ferry that was launched for weekend service in January has experienced an unfortunate set back. The service is discontinued until further notice.

Service was stopped, because the service provider that was contracted by the city to run the service does not have the right to dock at the jack Loond0on Square dock. The city is currently talking with the Port of Oakland and Jack London Square property Management to figure out how to resolve the issue and restart the service.
