Events

BikeAlameda gets involved all over the island with events to help get people to ride their bikes, and just for fun.

Upcoming Events

Mon, Feb 20 (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM) Estuary Crossing Shuttle & Bike Plan Update Committee meeting
Please join us to plan our involvement in the shuttle launch.

This shuttle will begin service on Monday, August 15 and we want to be ready.
We still have publicity to plan, posters to distribute and more organizations to contact.

We want to make sure that as many people as possible know about this shuttle and tell their friends, too.

There is also a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 15 at 10AM. At our meeting we will be discussing our participation in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Where: Otaez Restaurant; on Webster between Lincoln and Pacific. We usually meet at the tables in the back of the restaurant.
Thu, Mar 1 (7:30 PM - 9:00 PM) BikeAlameda Board Meeting
If you can contribute skills to our board, please consider talking to one of our board members about how you can contribute. There are ten board meetings a year. Plus choose something that you are passionate about and pursue that for us. It could be anything from 'building our membership', 'business liaison', 'estuary crossing' or advocacy, working with the schools and children.

If you think you might be interested please contact any member of the Board with any questions or concerns. We’d be delighted to discuss it with you. Or if you think you know someone who might be interested either in serving as a Board Member or as Treasurer, you’d like us to contact, please let us know. Our contact emails are our firstname@bikealameda.org (eg. bonnie@bikealameda.org).

We've updated our website page with a complete list of volunteer opportunities. Please visit and see if you can donate some time and have fun with us, too.
